Grading

50 points total or 25 points from the written exam are required to take the oral part of the exam. It is required to pass the oral part to obtain a positive note. Typical grades: 50-59 pts -> 3.0, ..., 90-100 pts -> 5.0; the final grade depends mostly on points obtained, but may be influenced by the oral part.

Most important things for the exam

It is very important that you are able to find the derivatives (of 'any' function) and the integrals (of 'simple' functions) -- see standard Math Analysis 1 course for examples.
Most important problem lists: 2, 6, 7, 8, 9.
Basic formulae involving Laplace transform will be given (if needed) during both exams (written and oral) -- namely, Laplace transforms of t^n exp(at), exp(at)cos(bt), exp(at)sin(bt), n-th derivative of f.
