Abstract:
Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is key method 
within the field of efficiency and productivity analysis. 
DEA is a non-parametric mathematical programming-based method
and it is at the forefront of methods available for assessing 
and managing performance in the delivery of goods and services 
such as health, education, policing and banking. 
In this session, the basic concepts that permeate DEA, 
its formulations as well as examples related to the industry will be presented.
